Fútbol Director privacy policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026.

Data controller and contact

The data controller for Fútbol Director is Luis Mariano Villa Domínguez, who presents the project under the name Asturxixon1979. For support and privacy enquiries, you can email asturxixon1979@proton.me.

This policy covers Fútbol Director's local gameplay, content import and export, and support features, as well as its website. The project is in development and limited testing. Publishing this policy does not mean that the game is available to download or has been published on Google Play. If a new version introduces different data processing, this information must be updated before those features are offered.

Game data and how it is used

The game stores careers and their progress, the manager name or alias you enter, and preferences such as language and audio on the device. This data allows the game to preserve your save, identify your manager within the game and remember your settings. You can use an alias; you do not need to enter a real name or sensitive data to identify your manager.

The names, injuries, training, contracts and finances of characters and clubs are part of a sports simulation: they are not a request for medical, banking or employment information about you.

Legal bases

We use the data strictly necessary to provide the game features you request on the basis of performance of that service relationship (Article 6.1.b of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR). This does not mean that we receive a remote copy of your saves merely because they are stored locally.

To respond to people who contact the project and maintain the website's security and operation, the basis is our legitimate interest in handling enquiries and providing an operational, secure website (Article 6.1.f of the GDPR). We limit these uses to the information necessary for that purpose; we do not use support enquiries to send advertising or create commercial profiles. We take particular care not to request unnecessary data about children, and you can exercise your right to object as described below.

We process the data necessary to handle data protection requests and comply with applicable legal obligations on the basis of Article 6.1.c of the GDPR. We do not ask for blanket consent for all these uses. If a future feature requires consent, it will be requested specifically and may be withdrawn without affecting the lawfulness of processing before its withdrawal.

Files you choose to import or export

When importing compatible content, you choose a document using Android's file picker. The application uses the name and contents of the selected file to process the import. When exporting content, you choose where to save it. Exporting a dataset and exporting a cosmetic Option File are different functions; the cosmetic file contains names linked to game identities, not a copy of your save.

The document may be on the device or with a storage provider you have selected. If you use a cloud provider or share an exported file, its processing also depends on that provider and on your choices. Do not include other people's personal data in files you distribute without an appropriate basis for doing so.

Email support

If you email us, we will receive your email address, message contents and any files you choose to attach. We will use them to answer your enquiry, investigate the problem you report and handle privacy requests. You do not need to send passwords, access codes, identity documents, banking information, notifications from other applications or complete saves with an initial enquiry.

Sending an email involves your email application or provider and the support mailbox provider. A contact link should not be interpreted as automatically sending game data. We will retain correspondence while handling the enquiry and for a maximum of twelve months after it is closed to deal with related follow-ups. We will then delete it, unless particular data must be retained to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. In those cases, we will retain only the necessary data, with restricted access, for the period applicable to that obligation or claim. Unnecessary attachments will be deleted when they are identified as unnecessary for handling the enquiry.

We use Proton Mail, operated by Proton AG, based in Switzerland, to receive support emails. According to its email-specific policy, its storage servers are in Switzerland, Germany or Norway. Proton processes email metadata, such as sender, recipient, subject and dates, and scans unencrypted external messages for spam and viruses before storing them encrypted. You should not interpret our use of Proton as a guarantee of end-to-end encryption for every message you send us. More information: https://proton.me/mail/privacy-policy and https://proton.me/legal/privacy.

Proton's general terms incorporate its data processing agreement when it processes data subject to the GDPR on behalf of a user acting as a controller. You can read it at https://proton.me/legal/terms and https://proton.me/legal/dpa. Switzerland has a European Commission adequacy decision for transfers of personal data from the European Economic Area; Germany and Norway are part of that area. Proton's agreement describes the safeguards applicable to other transfers that may take place when providing its service. This information does not claim that we have signed a separate individual contract or that every message remains in a single country.

Website and service providers

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare, Inc. describes in its policy how it processes technical data about visitors to its customers' websites, including IP addresses and traffic data. It acts as a processor for certain customer content and logs, and as a controller for other processing described in its policy. It is a global provider and may process information outside the European Economic Area. According to its published information, it uses the Data Privacy Framework for covered transfers to the United States and standard contractual clauses in the circumstances it specifies. You can read the published details and safeguards at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/ and https://www.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-customer-dpa/.

Cloudflare's self-service subscription agreement incorporates its data processing agreement by reference for the processing to which it applies: https://www.cloudflare.com/terms/. This description of its published terms does not claim that a particular agreement has been signed separately or guarantee exclusively European data residency. The European Commission provides information about adequacy decisions at https://commission.europa.eu/law/law-topic/data-protection/international-dimension-data-protection/adequacy-decisions_en.

The website's own code does not include data collection forms, analytics, trackers, first-party cookies or preference storage. It uses local JavaScript for an illustrative tactics board and music controls. Music attempts to start on entry if your browser allows it; you can turn it off or on using the controls. This description of the site's code does not claim that the hosting provider has no technical logs and does not replace the provider's privacy information.

The document or email providers you choose when importing, exporting or writing to us are distinct from the services used by the data controller to host the website and receive support enquiries. Their policies, and those of Android or the device manufacturer, may apply when you use those services. This project does not guarantee their operation or backup policies.

Retention, copies and deletion

Local saves and preferences remain in the application's storage until replaced or deleted using available features or Android's storage settings. Clearing the application's storage may cause you to lose your saves and settings.

Content you import and install may also remain in the application's local storage for use in the game, including the installed dataset or cosmetic Option File. Closing the picker or deleting the source document does not delete the installed copy. You can delete this installation's local data using Android's storage settings; this may cause you to lose saves, settings and installed content. This is not the same as deleting exported documents or copies held by external providers.

Exported documents remain in the location you chose. Clearing application data or uninstalling the application does not necessarily delete those documents or any copies kept by you or other providers. You must manage their deletion in the relevant location. Backups or transfers managed by Android and the manufacturer depend on the system version, device and configuration; universal deletion or the complete absence of external copies is not promised.

To request deletion of information you have sent to the support mailbox, email the contact address. We cannot remotely delete a save stored only on your device or documents you keep with an external provider.

Deletion from our mailbox does not mean that the provider's technical copies are purged instantly. Proton Mail's policy states that its backups are retained for a maximum of thirty days; this provider period is distinct from the support retention rule and does not mean that we have tested the deletion of a particular message from those backups.

Security and data to avoid sharing

The application uses its local storage and Android's document picker for the flows described. Avoid entering sensitive information or sending unnecessary attachments. No system guarantees absolute security; this policy does not promise end-to-end encryption or an independent security audit.

Children

Character and club data is fictional. An alias can be used to identify a manager, and a child's real details do not need to be included in a save. Children's support enquiries should be made with help from a parent or guardian, without supplying unnecessary personal data. If you believe that a child's information has been sent and should be deleted, contact the data controller. This policy does not replace the age rating or constitute certification under the Google Play Families programme.

Your rights

For personal data processed by the data controller — for example, information received in a support email — you may request access, rectification or erasure and exercise, where applicable, rights to object, restrict processing and data portability. Email asturxixon1979@proton.me explaining your request; do not initially send identity documents or other unnecessary data. If identity verification is appropriate, it will be limited to what is necessary to handle the request.

We will respond to requests without undue delay and, generally, within one month. If the complexity or number of requests requires a lawful extension, we will inform you within that first month.

You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority; in Spain, the Spanish Data Protection Agency: https://www.aepd.es/.

Changes

Changes will be published on this same page, showing the update date. Changes to features or data processing must also be reflected in the application's information and its distribution listing where applicable.
